The product
What is an account in Postrim?
An account is a brand: its own queue, posting schedule, timezone, media library and voice. Brands never share state, so two accounts can even have the same display name and stay fully separate.
Which platforms can it publish to?
X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Reddit and Facebook. An account only posts to the platforms you connect to it.
How does cross-posting work?
Every time slot holds a lane per platform. A post targets everywhere its brand posts by default, or just the platforms you pick, and it fills exactly those lanes of its slot. An X-only post never blocks the LinkedIn lane.
What happens to posts that are too long?
They are split into a numbered thread that fits each platform, never cut off mid-sentence. Platforms without threads get the full text folded into one post. In a thread, each image stays with the part it belongs to.
What does autopilot do?
It fills open slots from your topics, in the brand’s persona, and skips anything it already covered. Everything it queues is visible in the queue for review before it publishes.
What happens when a publish fails?
The failure is recorded and surfaced in notifications and the sent history rather than hidden. You can retry from the app.
AI and voice
Do I need my own OpenAI key?
Yes. AI features run on your own OpenAI key on every plan. You add it once in settings, calls are billed to your OpenAI account, and Postrim never marks them up.
How does it learn my brand’s voice?
You write persona documents: plain text about how the brand sounds, plus real posts as examples. Every draft goes through them. Documents can be scoped per platform, so an X voice and a LinkedIn voice can differ.
Will it repeat itself?
Everything you keep lands in a ledger, and generation is required to avoid the ideas already in it. Autopilot reads the same ledger.
Is my content used to train models?
No. Prompts go to OpenAI on your own key to generate your drafts, and your content is never sold or used by us to train anything.
Plans and billing
What does the free plan include?
3 social accounts, 30 posts a day and 50 AI generations a day, with every platform and every feature. No card required.
How does billing work?
Pro is billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy, who act as merchant of record and take your payment details directly. We never see your card number.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Any Pro payment is refundable within 14 days of being charged, no questions asked. Email support and we refund it through Lemon Squeezy. The full policy is on the refund page.
What happens when I cancel?
Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account drops back to Free.
What if I outgrow Pro?
Limits can be raised per account on a custom arrangement. Contact us and we will set it up.
